| | JaQuita’s versatility as an entertainer is vast. She has been compared to Whitney Houston, Martha Walsh and the Queen of Rock n Roll Tina Turner for her energetic performances and vocal ability. JaQuita grew up in the church influenced by gospel music and also Funk, R&B and Rock by listening to records from her uncles collection.. JaQuita has recorded with hip/hops acts, written and released numerous dance records, working with the likes of Roger Sanchez, Kings of Tomorrow, and Jellybean Benitez remaking Whitney Houston’s hit “Love Will Save The Day” with critical acclaim.
In 2005, she was one of eight finalists on Oprah’s Pop star Challenge picked from 15,000 entries. “It was amazing part of my life that I will never forget, it only motivated to continue doing with I love” says JaQuita. That experience was only more motivation for JaQuita to continue to work toward her destiny. In 2006, she toured throughout Europe with Grammy Award winning Roger Sanchez and the S-Man Band.
As LifePeople Magazine called her “the voice of the soul” JaQuita also performs live with her band Rockhouse. a band influenced by the likes of Queen and Led Zeppelin..showing her versatility as an artist.
