You know when a band is influenced by both Johnny Thunders and the Replacements that you're in for a helluva musical ride. The Gotohells pull off an incredibly tight, raw sound that screams with Paul Westerberg raspy urgency and the walking-a-thin-line edginess of Thunders' guitar. They step out of the shadow of those two giants, however, packing a mean Florida punch that's purely their own styling.
