CAMPFIRE Vinyl Records and CDs
In the mid-1990s, songwriter Christian Stone formed the Los Angeles-based Campfire Girls, whose spiky, scratchy melodic pop created a buzz in the deluge of post-Nirvana alt rock. After signing a deal with Interscope, the band fell into drug-fueled turmoil and never released its debut album. Oddly enough, it was Stone Temple Pilots' singer Scott Weiland who convinced the newly sober group to begin recording again in 2000. Delongpre was released in 2002; a second album, Tell Them Hi, quickly followed in 2003.
