| | Bill Baize is an American Gospel singer who was a member of Trailsmen, and the Smitty Gatlin Trio from 1966 to 1967. From 1971 to 1976 Bill Baize sang tenor for J D Sumner And The Stamps. During this time, along with releasing their own Gospel albums, J D Sumner And The Stamps did Elvis Presley's background vocals on tour, as well as background vocals on the Presley album "Promise Land". Beginning in 1976 Baize began a long running Gospel solo career. |
