Danish jazz trumpet and flugelhorn player, born 29 March 1940 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Died 26 November 2020. Son of Berl Botschinsky. Leader of the Danish 1970's jazz supergroup . Owned publishing company and was co-founder of the German jazz label . Leader of the DR Big Band in the 1970s and 1980s and conductor of five consecutive Danish Eurovision entries between 1979 and 1983. Winner of the 1982 Nordring Radio Prize.
