Conditions and Grading

Japan PROMO issue CDs and records generally include additional promo text factory printed around the centre of
the disc, plus a small promo sticker usually on the back
inlay or over the barcode on the back of the obi. The promos do ** NOT ** have any saw holes, cut outs or other damage! They are the same high
quality as the Japanese commercial store releases,
Gradings are include in sleeve/disc order where
applicable, please read CAREFULLY before you order. If you
have any questions contact us before payment and I will
reply ASAP.
Note that some photos may be library scans, not be the
actual copy on sale. Please refer to the actual item
description and condition gradings for actual item details.
Scans of items without a photo can usually be provided on
request.
Please check item description for additional condition
information where applicable.
Items graded SEALED or NEW are brand new and never
opened. Most will be in cellophane or shrink wrap, although
some non- standard size items (such as card sleeve or slip
case CDs) are supplied from new in re-sealable outer
protective overs.
CDs
M = mint/like new condition. The item looks like it is
unused.
M- = very near mint, with only very minor imperfections.
EX+ = nice used condition, light surface marks or occasional
fine scratches.
EX = average used condition. Some scuffs, scratches etc.
CDs graded EX- or VG+ will have several scratches and other
imperfections. NOT recommended if condition is a priority.
However all CDs with these lowest gradings do not skip or
jump, they are fine for playing.
VINYL (grading is VISUAL only)
M = we do not use M grading for vinyl, as even brand
new unplayed records often have minor imperfections direct
from the factory.
M- = near mint, very nice condition with only light surface
marks from cleaning or occasional fine scratches.
EX+ = nice used condition. Some fine surface marks or
scratches, obviously used but still in good shape.
EX = average condition. Quite a few surface marks and
scratches, normal condtion for a used/played record. OK but
not great shape.
EX- = a lot of noticable scratches, scuffs or other
defects which may cause pops or other sound defects. A
record that has been played a lot by previous owner(s), we
only usually offer items in this condition that are
genuinely rare or great collectors items that may
not be available in nicer shape. Not recommended if
condition or sound quality is top priority.
SLEEVES (CD sleeves and record jackets)
M = like new, just about perfect.
EX+ = may have creases caused by the jewel case clips or
light brown aging/discolouration or creasing (CD covers).
May have one or more of the following - creases, partial or
minor seam splits, mildew/discolouration, stains small
corner dents etc (LP covers).
EX = may have small tears, stains, sticker marks, creases
(CD covers). More substantial creases, edge wear,
discolouration,corner damage, tape marks etc (LPs).
NOTE - the sleeve gradings are to give examples of what
kind of flaw might make the item less than perfect but they
won't usually have all these problems on the same item!
Gradings for LASERDISCS are as per vinyl gradings.
Laserdiscs are play checked and serious cases of rot or
other playback/sound problems are reported before shipping.
Note that for some titles, especially early ones, occasional
speckling may be visible on playback and this is
considered normal for the item. If you need more information
about playback, please ask before completing payment.
Japanese laserdiscs are NTSC format (so will play on
standard USA players).
Gradings for TOUR BOOKS, HANDBILLS, POSTERS etc are a
similar to those for CD and LP sleeves.
We also use "M/M-" when an item is in really great
condition and is VERY near mint but not absolutely perfect.
Almost as good as new.

Return Policy

Rest assured, we work hard to ensure that items are graded
accurately and described clearly, and hope you will be fully satisfied
with our service and
your purchase.
To protect both buyer and seller, we generally ship with a tracked service.

Items will be packed very safely, including protective and
specially designed packing materials - more than strong enough to
survive even rough postal handling. However if an item arrives damaged
or broken the buyer MUST report this to their local post office and
obtain a DAMAGE CLAIM REPORT before we can process compensation. This
report is needed as proof to make a claim against the post office.
Without this, the Japanese post office will not accept any claims for
compensation. When these documents are provided by the buyer, we will
then submit the claim to the Post Office here in Japan. Once again,
please rest assured that this is an exceptionally rare situation and
that items invariable arrive safely and in great condition.
Where an item is NOT as described, we will accept the item back for
a full refund so long as we are notified, and the item is returned,
within 7 days of receipt. Refund will be issued within 24 hours of
receiving the returned item in it's original condition.
Please contact us BEFORE sending any returns to get all necessary
details and return authorisation.
Returned items MUST be returned in their original condition,
specifically SEALED items must still be SEALED - we cannot offer
refunds if a sealed item has been opened.
If you have any questions about items, including compatibility for
DVDs or LASERDISCS, please contact us BEFORE buying as we do not
accept returns due to system incompatibility or buyer error.

We usually ship next day if payment is received
before 8:00AM Japanese time (except Sundays & holidays) All items are sent well packed and well protected. Most shipments will include some form of tracking number, depending on service and destination country.
