Buyer refused to first return LPs, then get refund. His claim is very suspect. 21 Jul 2005 RECYCLED MUSIC wrote about

And now, for my side of the story: The Parisot LP referred to is from my personal collection. It played perfectly when I first graded it. It still plays perfectly (fortunately)after the buyer returned it. If it skipped when the buyer played it is because of a fault in his turntable/cartridge/stylus. He claims that two Minneapolis dealers almost never get any mint LPs. Perhaps they assume that mint LPs do not exist and therefore grade everything less than mint. I have sold thousands of mint LPs verifiable by examining the hundreds of testimonials from satisfied buyers. I dunno, maybe things are different in Minneapolis. I'd bet those dealers never even played the LP in question and simply made a blanket statement to make the buyer feel good so they can sell him junk. I encourage buyers to ask questions and I stand by my products. But, excellent music on high quality vinyl is hard to find, in demand and therefore not cheap. Because I play-graded the LPs I knew they played flawlessly. At first, I suspected the buyer might have burned CDs from the LPs and then returned them for a refund. Unfortunately, that does happen and it drives up the prices of old LPs. As for the crease in the jacket of one item - well, what can I say. It's a thin European jacket. I called it near mint and perhaps it became slightly less than that in transit. Good luck finding another copy in decent shape. My advice to the buyer: Fix your turntable system or get a better turntable rig. 24 Sep 2004 RECYCLED MUSIC wrote about
