Nat Brandwynne

Pianist and big band leader, before orchestrating for popular music in the 1950's, including Lena Horne. Born July 23, 1910, New York, NY Died March 7, 1978, Las Vegas, NV. He was the pianist (alongside Eddy Duchin) with the Leo Reisman Orchestra in the 1930's. In the 1950's, he conducted the orchestra at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. His band's theme song was"If Stars Could Talk." His last name is sometimes misspelled "Brandwine" or "Brandwynn". Father of pianist/composer Lois Brandwynne.
