| American television, theater and cinema actress. The daughter of Jefferson Airplane bandmates Paul Kantner and Grace Slick, born January 25, 1971. In July 1986 she guested as VJ for MTV at the age of 15, initiating 4 summers of regular appearances for them. Although never her legal name, MTV sometimes credited her onscreen as "China Slick Kantner". She appeared in several movies, television sitcoms, and stage plays, retiring from acting in 1998. On 13 April 2011, Kantner married actor and producer Seth Isler and, taking her husband's name, is known as China Isler. |
