Bocca Juniors |
Bocca Juniors was a short-lived project formed between the four DJ/producers (Andrew Weatherall, Terry Farley, Pete Heller, and Hugo Nicolson) at the heart of the Boy's Own Recordings label. They only released two singles: 1990's "Raise (63 Steps To Heaven)" and 1991's "Substance". Both featured lead vocals from Anna Haigh and were, in the words of the group, intended to be "balearic anthems". (The name "Bocca Juniors" is likely derived from the hugely popular and successful Argentine football team Boca Juniors, and possibly also from the word "bocca", which means "mouth" in Italian.) |
