musical tapestry of New Orleans. Despite their distinct upbringings in Baptist and Hispanic congregations, the band achieved widespread popularity. Securing a coveted Sunday residency at Whitey’s Devil’s Den, located in the heart of New Orleans, the band’s dynamic performances led by Manuel on the grand piano and Roland on the mic drew in crowds that exceeded the 400-person capacity. Remarkably, this energetic scene continued until 4 am every Monday for over 250 consecutive weeks, all without the need for promotion or flyers. Amidst frequent tours and a bustling schedule across the Southern states, the band had limited time for recording. In 1975, at ‘Cos’ Matassa’s Warehouse Studio, they produced the single ‘Everybody Knows’. The following year, their rendition of the Isley Brothers’ ‘For The Love Of You’ became a stripped-down classic, surpassing the original.

SHIPPING / COLLECTION:
We ship via Royal Mail, however overseas parcels over 2kg will need to be shipped via a courier. This may well cost more than the amount you are charged, so if this is the case, we will contact you to arrange any extra payment due.
We always remove records from unsealed 12"/LP sleeves before packing to avoid seam splits, however if you are ordering brand new stock that may be sealed, and you would like us to open the cellophane so we can ship the records outside the sleeve, please add a note to your order.
