This is an unusual effort for CTI in that it is a quintet set without added horns, strings or keyboards. Farmer and Hall are joined by vibraphonist Mike Mainieri, bassist Michael Moore and drummer Steve Gadd for two standards, the title cut and a jazz adaptation of a piece by Ravel. Since Farmer and Hall have long had very complementary styles (both being lyrical, harmonically advanced and thoughtful in their improvisations), it is little surprise that this set is a complete success. Attention: Seite A was cut at 45rpm, Seite B at 33rpm. Der Flügelhornist Art Farmer und der Gitarrist Jim Hall hatten Mitte der 60er Jahre eine gemeinsame Gruppe, spielten aber seitdem, mit einer Ausnahme, nicht mehr zusammen - bis zu dieser LP von 1978. Dies ist eine etwas ungewöhnliche Veröffentlichung von CTI, es handelt sich hier nur um ein Quintett, ohne Bläser, Streicher oder Keyboards. Farmer und Hall werden unterstützt von dem Vibraphonisten Mike Mainieri, dem Bassisten Michael Moore und dem Schlagzeuger Steve Gadd bei der Interpretation von zwei Standards, dem Titelstück und einer Jazz-Adaption eines Stückes von Maurice Ravel. Da Farmer und Hall schon lange sich ergänzende Stile pflegten (beide sind sehr lyrisch, harmonisch hochentwickelt und nachdenklich in ihren Improvisationen) ist es keine große Überraschung, dass diese Session ein voller Erfolg ist.
