Formed by the Boo Radleys' Martin Carr, Brave Captain are a trippy dippy baroque pop lover's delight. Nothing Lives Long is a bizarrely assembled aural patchwork of "B" influences (Beatles, Beach Boys, Bacharach, etc.). The endearing release is surprisingly seamless, and as simple as it's challenging.
