A three man crew from California, Lootpack are among the elite artists in the West Coast's booming underground movement. Affiliated with the Likwit Crew, they first appeared on Tha Alkaholik's 1993 debut 21 & Over. They have since released a few singles, contributed to several high-profile compilations, and in 1999 they dropped their critically acclaimed debut LP Soundpieces: Da Antidote. Backed by Madlib's maniacal, SP-1200 fuelled production, they rip wack crews to shreds with their next-level rhymes and super-intricate sampling collages.
