This young, Ritalin-deprived quartet let loose on contagious, Indie Rock form with big barbed hooks, modular Ric Ocasek synth, vocal harmonies inspired by a rich collection of British Invasion vinyl, and Diamond Dave-era Van Halen-influenced guitar leads. Their mosaic of growing-up-in-the-bedroom influences is endearingly filtered through a West Coast soul in the charismatic crooning of frontman Jeremy Powers. Red Planet's live shows usually pack concert halls due to the band's ability to appear musically bionic on stage.
