Originally fronted by strongman Glenn Danzig, the Misfits played fast and severe Punk anthems that were unique, in part due to Danzig's melodic singing. Their appearance was crude and campy, with fully made-up stage theatrics that helped to create a cult following that has followed them through their recent incarnations.
