Australian trio comes off like punks shedding their skin in an effort to make it big. The Living End effectively drive squinty-faced Punk-Pop vocals headfirst into songs loaded with bristling guitars. The result is catchier and friendlier than Rancid, but not nearly as innocuous as Green Day.
