Mantronix originally started as the duo of Mantronik and MC Tee, who fused Kraftwerk's dance-oriented techno pop with New York's emerging rap styles and R&B, Funk and Soul influences. His hybrid productions were simple, but massive; Mantronix: The Album features raps and heavy Vocoder that direct party people to the dance floor to experience hard grooves and raw samples that sound like battling cyborgs.
