| Ednaswap are best known for writing "Torn," which Australian soap-opera star Natalie Imbruglia experienced huge success with -- and attempted to take credit for in various media periodicals -- in 1998. Ednaswap's version is much better, as it displays the band's talent for contrasting sounds within a song to create a more intersecting stream. This female fronted L.A. band also wrote "Sanctuary" for Madonna's Bedtime Stories. The group disbanded in 1999, once they dicovered that nobody cared about their ability to write hit songs for other people. Find Ednaswap cds and Ednaswap records on Island Records. |
