Bobby Valentino | Down with Ludacris' Disturbing Tha Peace crew, Bobby Valentino lends some R&B flavor to the rowdy squad. The fast-rising vocalist first hit the scene as the teenaged lead singer for a group called MISTA. They scored a hit in 1996 with the single "Blackberry Molasses," though their self-titled album didn't fare as well. The members went their separate ways, with Bobby relocating from Jackson, Mississippi, to Atlanta to attend college. After graduating in 2003, his demo tape caught the attention of Ludacris, who promptly signed him to his DTP imprint. In early 2005, Valentino lit up airwaves everywhere with the undeniably banging Tim-and-Bob-produced love jam "Slow Down," setting the stage for his debut solo LP, DTP Presents: Bobby Valentino.Find Bobby Valentino cds and Bobby Valentino records on Vireo Records. |
