Danish duo Junior Senior seem to delight in the absurd, as they construct incredibly catchy, sweet-flavored dance pop to exalt the most bizarre sentiments. Jesper Mortensen (Junior, the thin, straight one) and Jeppe Laursen (Senior, the bigger, openly gay one) began their music careers in a Danish indie rock band that went nowhere. Once that outfit broke up, the two pooled their record collections to come up with a smorgasboard of a sound: Junior Senior combine disco, 1960s-leaning pop and a lethal dose of '70s funk. Fatboy Slim himself led the charge for Junior Senior when he played the single "Move Your Feet" incessantly during his DJ stints at the dance-oriented Winter Music Conference in 2002.
