Kerosene 454 Originally from the West Coast, Kerosene 454 didn't begin to make progress until they moved to Washington, D.C. There, they began to release a handful of singles that chronicled their progression from a jocular noise outfit to a smoother, more controlled rock band. Siren-like guitars whirl over frenzied drumming and a tight, chugging rhythm guitar. The vocals ooze over the songs like a thick coat of caramel, and the transitions between verse and chorus flow just as effortlessly.
