Though they released five albums over the course of their career, none made the immediate impact of Wild Cherry's self-titled debut, which dominated the charts and won countless awards, thanks to the crossover disco smash "Play That Funky Music." The other tracks here are also solid -- a potent blend of rock and funk guaranteed to keep the party live.
