Review Moms and dads, hide your sons. A teen rock & roll machine in tight leather pants and matching T-shirts, the Donnas bristle with lines like, "I'm searching the streets . . ./I'm lookin' for some fresh meat" and boasts of sizing up hotties over hot nachos at the minimart. Alto, California, foursome's formerly garage sound pumped up to arena levels, with stronger songs, blistering guitar solos and split-kickin' metal antics. Lyrically, they still have a Spice Pop firmly planted between their tongue and cheek. Frontwoman Donna A. sings all toughlike about boys who are so dull that the Donnas have to spell it out ("B-O-R-I-N-G") and about a guy who's so lame that "his mom writes his name on his underwear" (ouch!).
