Roots rock/Americana band from New York. The group played a mixture of rock, country and folk.
The band was first formed as a rock cover band in 1983, when bassist Paul Foglino and lead singer and guitarist Tom Meltzer were undergraduate students at Columbia University. Depending on where the group performed, the band included three to six members.
