We're collectors too and know the importance of getting the grading right and getting the packages in the post quickly. Most items are shipped within 48 hours and often much quicker than that.

Shipping Costs

Double/Triple sets are treated as 1 LP + additionals:
1 LP first class UK = 5.00 GBP each additional adds 1.00 GBP
1 LP air mail Europe = 8.00 GBP one additional adds 3.00 GBP and subsequent LPs add 1 GBP each
1 LP USA = 16.00 GBP and each additional adds 3.00 GBP
1 LP air mail rest of world = 16.00 GBP and each additional adds 3.00 GBP
1 45/CD first class UK = 2.50 GBP each additional adds 0.50 GBP
1 45/CD air mail Europe = 5.00 GBP each additional adds 1.00 GBP
1 45/CD USA = 6 GBP and each additional adds 1.00 GBP
1 45/CD air mail rest of world = 6.00 GBP each additional adds 1.00 GBP
1 sheet music first class UK = 1.50 GBP
1 sheet music air mail Europe = 4.00 GBP
1 sheet music USA = 5 GBP
1 sheet music air mail rest of world = 5.00 GBP
I would like recorded delivery. This adds 1.50 GBP to a UK order and 6.00 GBP to an overseas order
I would like insured postage or any other specialized posting - will be charged at cost (we will send you a quote)

Grading

We do not use mint as a grade although many of our records graded EX are in fact near mint or mint.We grade covers first and vinyl second e.g. ex/ex
Our grades are -
EX - Excellent.Clean blemish free vinyl/cover. Any defects will be very minor .
NEX - Near EX. Defects but very close to an EX grading.
VG - Very good. Defects but a playable/enjoyable record.
G - Good. Noticeable defects and possibly a deterioration in sound quality
F - Fair. Heavily used and poor sound quality.
If you are looking for a mint or near-mint copy please contact us to verify condition as many of our records graded as EX are in fact mint or near-mint.
All our 45s graded VG or under have been played to ensure that they are playable and produce a sound appropriate for the grading.
Where a 45 has a picture sleeve then there will two gradings in the description eg ex/ex. If a 45 does not have a picture sleeve but has a company sleeve or a plain white sleeve then there will be one grade in the description e.g ex
We always try and supply an appropriate company sleeve where possible but if we can't we will supply a new plain white sleeve.
If you are uncertain whether or not a 45 has a picture sleeve and this is important to you please contact us prior to ordering to establish the facts.
American Issues - In the UK 99% of American made albums have a cut-out a drill hole or a cut corner. To us in the UK this is just the way it is and we don't consider such to be major defects. When we grade a cover with a cut-out, cut corner or drill hole we just lower the grade a notch to reflect the defect e.g a sleeve that is EX apart from a cut-out we would grade as NEX. Similarly, many American pressed 45s in the UK have a punch hole but, again, we accept that this is the way things are and we don't consider this "defect" when we grade. If such things are important to you please contact us before placing an order to establish whether there is a cut-out, drill hole or cut corner on the item.

We offer a no quibble refund policy. If you are not happy, we are not happy.
Contact us to see if we can resolve the problem or you can just return the record for a full refund together with any postage costs you have incurred.
We are nice guys (kind to our mothers, wives, dogs etc) and easy to deal with!
