LEO WRIGHT Records and CDs

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, December, 12, 1933, died January 4, 1991 in Vienna, Austria. He studied Saxophone and Flute. In 1959 he became a member of the famous Dizzy Gillespie Quintet. When Gillespie closed this Quintet in 1962 during a Europe-Tour, Leo Wright decided to stay in Europe. Since this time he played in various Jazz Clubs, Concerts and Festivals between Stockolm, Paris, Rome and Prague.
