Brooklyn duo and Boot Camp Clik members, Ruck and Rock deliver quality New York hip-hop. A healthy blend of gun-toting tough talk, smoky weed jams, and defiant braggadocio, the two emcees sound right at home with their Duck Down brethren. Their first album, Nocturnal (1996), featured production by Supreme and contained the underground hit "Therapy" and the Fab Five posse cut "Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka." They returned in 1998 with Magnum Force, sporting beats by Supreme, Self, Daz Dillinger, and many others. The album also showcased collaborations with most of the BCC, as well as a tight east-meets-west track with Tha Dogg Pound.
