If you feel I miss-graded an LP. I’m sorry. I am just as” picky” as anybody & we recycle everything when packing.
Most of the LPs were cherry-picked from thousands of LP we looked through in the 18 yrs we were retail. Some of the more sealed and oddities are from my collection.
1st I open 4 mill. Outer protective. LP bag from Repo Records Inc. (Google) repocds .com (: REPO DEPOT is a branch off:) in N.C.
The LPs have been re-cleaned with H2o & 22% alcohol solution.
Re- graded/Repriced. Using a high output bulb to look for imperfections. If the record has a flaw it is played, graded, or trashed. Some LPs may have a mark from the LP sleeve dragging it in and out. No Biggie.
Deep Scratches are “rubbed out”. Will describe.
(Put on clean towel with no embroidery. Lay side with light mark, gently feel the depth. Sometimes it is Trash or where they “guy was putting on an LP with cola in his mouth and spit was flying around.
Clean LP, Dry LP. Take your middle finger; spray some H20/alcohol solution. H20 if you prefer. Rub with the grooves! If you feel trash re-clean. Rub gently/till it heats up until the scratch is a “hill/not a valley. Some heat may be felt under finger. This is good. The vinyl is coming off not the sound, or you are wearing your finger out. Do this at you own risk? Use a record that always pops. Practice.& Play. I may be full of ca-ca.
.If a Cover is touched up /I do not up- grade the description. They just look better! It’ an art.
I may spend ten minutes on a $3.00 record. My bad. Your cover will look Fabulous.

I also look at the age of the LP to Grade it. If an LP is worthy it will be listed fair compared to other sellers. Most time I under price the other sellers to secure the sale.
