We cover insurance although we will inform you beforehand if a parcel is to be sent at your own risk / will need further insurance at your cost - in the case of high risk countries or disproportionate postage costs for example. You have the right to cancel an order (for any reason) within 7 days of receipt of your goods. To exercise this option you must first inform us (in writing / email) before returning the goods - which must be returned in the same condition as they were sent out.Postage costs will not be refunded however.
Return Policy: All items are guaranteed to your satisfaction and to the description we have given. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service please contact us and we will resolve it immediately. All faulty items (plus postage costs) will be fully refunded An order may be returned for any reason whatsoever within a period of 7 days of receipt provided the item(s) are in the same state as received (e.g. if sealed, seal must be intact) although original and return postage costs will not be refunded - only the actual item(s) paid for.
Grading: All items are graded visually according to the UK "Record Collector" magazine definitions NOT the US "Goldmine" variation. The cover is graded first (if no cover = -/...), followed by the condition of the discs in sequence e.g a double lp may well be graded m/ex/nm = mint sleeve, excellent first lp, near mint second lp. If a release contains a special item such as a booklet or limited poster that will be graded after the sleeve and before the discs. Definitions (n.b. "record" is any recorded media) ss = still sealed unp = unplayed m = mint - the record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover or any items such as lyric sheets, posters or booklets are in perfect condition. nm =near mint - virtually flawless, miniscule amount of wear. ex = excellent - the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. vg = very good - the record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occassional light scratch.Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects is acceptable. g = good - the record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discloration etc. f = fair - the record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise - it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced. p = poor - the record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing b = bad - the record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler.
