Grading:
GRADINGS
We keep it as simple as we can. 'Record Collector' gradings are too complex for most people and too easily misused.
We also tend to err on the side of caution when grading. You may well find the condition is better than you were expecting.

NEW Self-Explanatory. Purchased when the item was released and in our spares vault ever since. The item has it's full gloss, no marks, and for vinyl, the labels are in clean condition.
MINT Same as above. Brought in after release [may still be NEW], no marks.
EXCELLENT Literally only a few light marks normally caused by taking the item out of it's sleeve/case. The item has it's full gloss, and for vinyl, the labels are in clean condition.
VERY GOOD Marked and maybe a click, no deteroiration in sound quality. The item has it's full gloss, and for vinyl, the labels are in clean condition. [See exceptions]
GOOD Everything else gets listed as Good or Fair and detailed in the description.
EXCEPTIONS TO THESE RULES are currently 78rpm records and 7'' JAMAICAN PRESSED singles, where grading is only a very rough guide.
We do not sell badly marked items unless they really are rare. [Exceptions = 78rpm, Jamaican Pressings]
Collectors, Archives, Libraries and Media customers are advised to stick with NEW, MINT or EX [These items are of Broadcast Quality]

RESTORATION
All items have been fully restored [by hand] to as near their original condition as possible and re-sealed [excluding oversized items]. As you can see by our feedback, our customers can be 'suprised' at the 'new' look, feel and sound of our used items. We are constantly restoring items for ourselves and our customers.
