Money Order:
This is our preferred method. Upon receipt of payment, item(s) will usually ship out same day or the next.

Personal Check:
We accept personal checks with funds drawn on a U.S. bank. It can take up to 3- 5 days until your check clears at which time item(s) will be shipped out. If you're a repeat customer in good standing or have outstanding feedback, chances are we will not have to wait for clearance, at our discretion.

Cash:
If cash is your method of choice, it must be well hidden and in U.S.D. (United States Dollars). Remember, this is at you own risk, and we are not responsible for anything whatsoever that may happen to your payment during transit. We've yet to have a problem with this method, but we still must stress the potential liability you will bear.

All shipping info regarding U.S. pertains to the contiguous United States. Hawaii and Alaska may cost more.
Items are shipped out within 1-3 business days of receiving payment, often times within 24 hours.
Insurance, upon request, is $1.65 for items under $50.
$2.05 up to a $100. $2.45 up to $200.

Return Policy:
We are not responsible for uninsured mail or items lost or damaged in transit.
You may return most items sold by VinylCastle within 5 business days of delivery for a refund less shipping & handling and less any fees that we may incur through MusicStack and/or Paypal.
Expensive items will usually not be refunded unless there is a major discrepancy in the advertisement for said product. The decision to refund is at our sole discretion. Please, please ask all inquiries and questions before ordering.

Grading:
We grade based on visual inspection of the vinyl (and other media) itself. We try to take into consideration the sound quality as much as possible, but given the sheer amount of records that we have, it is not always possible.
SS Still Sealed
Never opened.
M - Mint
Perfect Condition. We rarely use this grade unless we're certain that it's never been played.

NM Near Mint
The record is opened but looks unplayed, the cover is almost perfect. May only have the slightest imperfections, if any.
VG++ - Very Good Plus Plus.
This is just one step below Near Mint condition. Vinyl (or other media) is in fantastic shape but may have slightly more imperfections or flaws than a NM record.
VG+ Very Good Plus / EX
Sometimes referred to as Excellent. May have scuff marks and signs of some wear. Definitely no scratches or gouges that a touch with a dry finger can feel.
VG Very Good / EX-
The majority of saleable albums fall under this grade.
A VG record will display visible signs of handling.
Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a "VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.


G Good
"Good" actually means "trashed" in collector circles!
CD: one or more tracks skip.
Vinyl: May have continuous low level crackles, pops, etc... but not so loud as to make the music completely unlistenable or unenjoyable to the casual listener. Might also have "nasty little scratch" causing popping on one or two more songs, with the rest of record playing fine.
Cover: More than normal wear and tear.


F Fair
i.e. Vinyl: Only one side playable


P Poor
i.e. Only one or two songs on the whole album are playable.
