**NEW SERVICE**
If you are buying vinyl, we can now include a vinyl to CD backup copy of it on CD (for personal use only) with your purchase. Cost for a 7" record is $10, 12" single is $15, and full length LP is $25 per LP. There will be no additional shipping charge. Please let us know if you are interested.

Within the US:
We offer USPS Media Mail & USPS 1st class mail (for CDs and 7" singles). Priority mail is only available by request. Please email or call for a quote. We ship on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Please read below for rates & services.
1st Class Mail - Usually delivered within 5-7 business days from time of shipment, however this is not guaranteed and actual delivery time may vary. We use delivery confirmation with all orders.
Media Mail - Usually delivered within 7-10 business days from time of shipment, however this is not guaranteed and actual delivery time may vary. We use delivery confirmation with all orders.
Priority Mail - Usually delivered within 2-3 business days from time of shipment, however this is not guaranteed and actual delivery time may vary. We use delivery confirmation with all orders.
Prices quoted include delivery confirmation. Insurance will automatically be added to all orders over $50 and is optional on orders under $50. If you chose not to insure it and your package is lost or damaged, we can't issue a refund. Insurance rates are as follows:
$0.01-$50: $1.65
$50.01-$100: $2.05
$100.01-$200: $2.45
International:
All international orders are sent via DHL Priority Mail which generally takes 1-2 weeks. The US Postal Service no longer offers surface/economy mail. International Mail is shipped twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday. International rates come in 3 categories:

You can enter this information directly in our secure checkout. If you don't want to enter your credit card online, you can call us at 818-888-4071, fax us at 818-888-4023 or send it over 2-3 emails.
Paypal
Please send Paypal payments to sales@gatefoldrecords.com. If you do not have an account, you can open one at www.paypal.com.
Checks
We only accept checks in US dollars drawn on US banks. If you choose this option, you will receive instructions on how to pay, including our mailing address, in your confirmation email. Due to a large number of returned checks, we will now hold all items for 3 weeks to 1 month to allow ample time to clear before shipping. To expedite shipment, please send a money order. If for some reason an item is out of stock, you will be sent a refund check for that amount along with the rest of your order.
Money Orders
We only accept US money orders and some International Money Orders in US dollars. We accept Canadian & Japanese Postal money orders, other International Money Orders must be drawn on a US bank listing a US address on the money order. Many countries have American Express or Western Union offices that can issue these money orders.
*Please note all California residents will be charged 8.25% sales tax. The Golden State wants it’s cut.

Return Policy:
All merchandise is guaranteed to be in the condition stated. If an item is “new” that means we guarantee it against manufacturer defects. For all used product, check out our grading system page for complete definitions of our grading. If you need more specific information on a certain item, please contact us.
Gatefold Records will only accept returns on merchandise under the following conditions:
Defective- If an item is defective it may be exchanged for another copy of the same item only. If another copy is not available, we will credit your account for the full amount to be used on any other purchase or issue a refund.
Shipping Damage- All merchandise is packed in well padded LP mailers, boxes & jiffy packs. In the event that severe damage has been caused during shipping (broken records, broken CDs, warped records) it may be exchanged for another copy of the same item. If another copy is not available, we will credit your account for the full amount to be used on any other purchase or issue a refund
Please know that no matter how well we pack them, minimal damage, such as slightly bent corners on vinyl jackets, cracks in CD jewel cases or inserts, may occur during shipping. While we can’t accept these as returns, we can try to help in whatever way we can, such as sending you a replacement jewel case with your next order.
Please be sure and contact us before sending any returns to get a return authorization (RA) number at 818-888-4071. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Grading:
Grading is listed as follows: "cover/vinyl or CD" for example EX/VG+ means that the cover or jacket is in EX condition and the vinyl or CD is in VG+ condition. Sometimes the cover & vinyl/CD are in the same condition and in this case there will just be one grade.
