| Here's a very cool record by this viola/violin player, who's apparently quite prominent in Hungarian jazz circles. He first delved into jazz-rock with a 1974 album called "Four String Tschaba" on MPS, which is pretty good, if maybe a touch dry and "serious" (it can be found over at Never Enough Rhodes). This one ups the entertainment factor considerably, however. The first side features some absolutely stomping funky fusion, prominently featuring Deseo's viola and violin soloing (which is sometimes fuzzed-out and electronically treated, to extremely cool effect) and lots of superb electric piano. The best description I can come up with would be Michal Urbaniak and Emil Viklicky jamming with the Headhunters. Side 2 is more jazzy, and features an interesting extended suite. Definitely deserves to be more well-known! |

NM : Near Mint.
Record = is as good as new and clear. May have some minor paper scuffs or tiny hairlines.
Cover = as new with maybe the slightest signs of wear on corners, edges, spine or surface.
EX : Excellent.
Record = Still very clear with a few hairlines and some small scuffs.
Cover = there is a bit wear on corners, edges and surface.
VG+ : Very Good+.
Record = clear but you can see some hairlines and/or some small scuffs across the surface.
Cover = is still looking good but there is some wear, on corners & edges,slight creasing. There is a bit ring-wear and a small green tag on the front-side. without any major defects, is acceptable.
VG : Very Good.
Record = There are lines, scuffs and/or swipes across the surface.
Cover = there is real wear on corners, edges and spine. There are splits in the seams, serious ring-wear or surface-wear, small mark from a price sticker.
G : Good.
Record = when I put a record with this grade then it well be a very rare one. In that case I will describe the imperfections on this record in detail.
Cover = this cover has been mended to keep it from falling apart. Look at the photo to have a better idea of the condition.
