As per Record Collector M, NM, EX, Vg, G, Fair; Records with marks,jumps, surface noise and clicks affecting sound quality, are always clearly highlighted.
S/S (STILL SEALED)
Sealed, Unplayed, Perfect.

M (MINT)

The record is brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound. The cover is also in perfect condition. These records will generally be unplayed or sealed.

NM (NEAR MINT)

The record is brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound. The cover is in near perfect condition showing only slight signs of wear. These records will have been played no more than a couple of times.

EX (EXCELLENT)

The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little, if any lessening in sound quality. Slight signs of wear & creasing on covers.

VG (VERY GOOD)

The record has been played many times with no major deterioration in sound quality. There may be some surface marks or a few slight clicks. Normal wear & tear on the cover.

G (GOOD)

The record has been played many times with some deterioration in sound quality. There maybe many surface marks and some clicks or very slight surface noise. Wear & tear of cover.

F (FAIR)

The record is playable but there will be some defect affecting sound quality such as surface noise, a scratch or jump. These records are highlighted.
