Delivery Times (U.S. Shipments)

• First Class: Usually takes the post office 1 to 7 days to deliver, depending on the destination. (May take longer during holiday seasons.)
• Media Mail: Usually takes the post office 7 to 21 days to deliver.
• First Class - Insured: Takes the same amount of time to deliver as First Class Mail. However, the item is insured against loss or theft in the mail.
  • Insurance rates are based on the cost of the insured item(s).
• Priority Mail: Usually takes the post office 2-3 days to deliver. The delivery time is NOT guaranteed by the post office.
• Express Mail: This overnight service usually takes 1 day for delivery. However, some destinations will take 2 days for delivery.
  • The post office will guarantee delivery in 1-2 days (including delivery on Sundays and holidays), depending on the location.
  • Note: The destinations that take 2 days are usually small towns far away from a major airport or major city.

• Air Mail: Usually takes the post office 4 to 7 days to deliver, depending on the destination. (May take longer during holiday seasons.)
• Surface Mail has been discontinued by the U.S. Postal Service
• Air Mail - Registered: Takes the same amount of time to deliver as Air Mail. However, the item is insured against loss or theft in the mail.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 7 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price.

To qualify for a refund, the item must be returned in its original condition and original packaging. This guarantee only applies to records graded Very Good Plus (VG+) or higher, books and magazines graded Fine (F) or higher and picture sleeves and ads graded Very Good Plus (VG+) or higher.

GRADING - MUSIC


Our music, like that from most dealers, is visually graded. We follow the grading standards below and apply a separate grade to the record or CD and the sleeve, jacket or insert, if available. We do our best to list any significant defects or any variances from the grading below.

• Sealed: The record or CD is still sealed in its original, unopened shrinkwrap. This grade only applies to U.S. pressings of LPs and CDs. 45s and 78s were never sealed. Non-U.S. pressings or records and CDs are rarely, if ever, shrinkwrapped.

  
  

• Near Mint (NM): This is our highest grade for an open item. It represents a nearly perfect record. Records will have no obvious signs of wear. The grooves will be bright and new. CDs will have no scratches and will be bright and shiny. The jacket or sleeve will have no side splits, folds, dog-eared corners, creases, pet chew marks or other noticeable defects.

  
  

• Near Mint Minus (NM-): This represents a record that is otherwise NM but with 1 or 2 very minor defects, like a light surface scuff or minor scratches from the sleeve. However, the record will show no obvious signs of wear. The grooves will be bright and new. CDs may have a minor surface scratch that does not affect play.

  
  

• Very Good Plus (VG+): Records will show signs of wear, but will be well maintained. There may be some slight scuffs or light scratches. There may be a slight warp that does not affect play. There may be some minor ring wear on the jacket, sleeve or label. Overall, there will be some minor defects that do not significantly affect play. CDs will have some minor surface scratches that do not affect play. CD inserts may have some minor defects.

  
  

• Very Good (VG): Records will show more signs of wear, but no significant graying of the grooves. There will also be more scratches, some of which may be felt with a fingernail. Surface noise will be more apparent but will not overpower the music. Jackets, sleeves and labels will have more defects as well. Picture sleeves will likely have more damage to the top portion, including numerous little tears, but it will not overpower the overall sleeve. There may be some minor side splits. However, no one item will possess all of these defects at once. CDs will have more surface scratches that do not affect play.

  
  

• Good (G): Records will play through without skipping. However, there will be significant noise. The grooves will likely show graying from play. Jackets, sleeves and CD inserts may have significant writing, tape on the sides, chew marks, ring wear and other defects. CDs may have scratches that can be felt with a fingernail, but none that are circular and likely to cause skipping.

GRADING - Books & Magazines


We follow the grading standards below and apply a separate grade to the book and the dustjacket, if available. We do our best to list any significant defects or any variances from the grading below.

• As New (N): This refers to a book that looks like new. There are no obvious defects. The dustjacket looks like new, with no tears.

  
  

• Fine (F): The book shows some minor signs of wear. It is not as crisp as a New copy. The jacket may have a minor tear or other minor defects.

  
  

• Very Good (VG): The book shows more wear, but no tears. The jacket shows more wear, but few significant tears.

  
  

• Good (G): The book looks like an average used book that has all pages present.

  
  

• Fair (F): The book is well worn but has complete text pages. The book may lack endpapers. The bining and jacket will also be well worn.

  
  

• Poor (P): The book is a reading copy. Some text is missing. It may have loose joints, hinges and pages.

GRADING - ADS


We follow the grading standards below and do our best to list any significant defects or any variances from the grading below.

• Near Mint (NM): This is our highest grade. The ad looks like new with no obvious signs of wear. There will be no yellowing and no tears or other noticeable defects. Corners and edges will be sharp.

  
  

• Very Good Plus (VG+): There will be more signs of wear. There may be a minor tear or some yellowing around the edges. The edges and corners will not be as crisp. Overall, the ads will not be distracted by the minor defects.

  
  

• Very Good (VG): There will be more tears some of which may be longer. Yellowing will be more pronounced. There may be some writing, tape, chew marks and other defects. However, no single item will possess all of these defects at once.

  
  

• Good (G): There may be some writing, tape, chew marks, and other defects. The ad will possess several significant defects at once.
