I need some opinions please. I happened to find this site while searching for information. My mom passed away almost 3 years ago and she left her large collection of vinyl records with me. I don't know much about them and I'm unsure of what to do with them. I don't have a turntable or anything. I'm thinking of selling them, but I don't know where to go to sell them. Should I keep them or should I sell them?
Thank you for taking the time to help me with this decision. It's not an easy one. I hope you all can help.
Don't sell them. Hold on to them. Trust me, dependent upon what they are, they could appreciate in value over time. Then again, why sell them if they are a family heirloom? I most certainly wouldn't. Sorry, you are on your own with this one Marie, as this is a very delicate subject matter that I would not ever know what to give you any advise on.
If you are looking to make money from them, and they have no nostalgic value, then check through various sites such as E-Bay, Amazon and here to see what similar albums have sold for. Keep in mind that condition matters.
