The doors first self titled album looking for the MONO LP release not the STEREO virsion.. had it in high school but sold it like a dumby and didnt find out the difference between the two until a couple months ago. In the song break on through the part where Jim sings She gets "HIGH" the "high is edited out on the STEREO LP. I have the stereo lp right now but I want the mono also. Its REALLY hard to find

I can see there are a few on Musicstack all varying condition and seem to range from $15 upto £200+

It deoes seem strange that mono and stereo issues can be different... it takes a keen ear to notices these different mixes... and once you've heard... there is no mistaking it. Here in the UK many of the Beatles albusm can be like this... sometimes more noticable by the song lasting a several seconds longer etc...

I hope a search on here helps you locate what you are looking for... If none seem to fit the bill, try listing it in the WANTED section... these are regular checked over by the many dealers on this site... I'm sure someone will be able to hook you up with ease.
