I was recently given a box of LP's. All are vintage and a lot of them I can't find any info on the label or the artist's. I did search the and find some of the copyright info on some of the songs & artists, but I'm beginning to believe that these are very rare, but is there someone who may help me learn more info on these LP's,
Well, if truth be told, without knowing what some of the labels are, there is no way anyone can help you here. You need to be more specific, and we will go from there.
I am great at researching but I can't do that if we do not know who the Artists or title of the record is. so make a list and message me it and I will research then tomorrow and have an answer for you that same day.
You may have white label promo's or acetates... both of which could be very valuable... but equally could be of no interest.
If you can't work out who they are by... maybe some information on the kind of music they contain... and estimate of age... and any significant label markings that might help people identify a few for you might help.
Thanks, Most of the music is religious, some is I'm guessing country, then their are some maybe just easy listing. I did find one that I have that's a christian group that some is selling with a asking price of $800, but how they got the info to price I don't know, again I'm new to this and a friend gave these to me because we just opened a thrift shop booth at our local flea market.
Look in the run-out groove near the middle of the disc. You may well find a "matrix number" (sometimes also with an A or B, which isn't really part of the number but tells you which side you're looking at). Google the matrix number, it may get you somewhere. Sometimes the number is stamped, sometime scratched, and sometimes there's more than that like a message of some sort, which can be helpful or not. There are an awful lot of Porky Prime Cut LPs out there

If this is a French company that advertises their goods on MusicStack, all their $10.00 albums are priced at $500-800. Dieu knows why.
