Boy I struck gold, I found an AUTOGRAPHED The Ordinary Man record of Dale McBride, it's AWESOME, plus Tom Moran and the Yorkshire Lads also AUTOGRAPHED, my grandfather passed on and I just LOVE old records, so they were gave them to me a long with his Antique record player. I have TONS of records from the 50's, 60's, and the 70's. I have the John F. Kennedy, A Memorial Album. My question to anyone here that may know, curious about what these things were worth. Any help will be appreciated.

Unfortunately, probably not as much as you hope. The easiest way is to check the main record selling sites. Musicstack, Discogs, E-Bay, Amazon, and see what they're selling for. Remember that the condition of the album (scratches, smudges, scuffs, clean label) and the condition of the jacket (wear, writing etc) all come into play when pricing a record.

Your records are worth whatever a collector is willing to pay to have it? Check out: Popsike.com, and do a search for a particular record to see if it sold, and for how much?

I agree with Randolph.........

Sometimes records are only worth what people are willing to pay for them. It is all about the supply & demand!

More times often than not, some records are only worth the sentimental value that someone is willing to place upon them, and sometimes when it comes to actual dollar value, you might come home with nada $$$$.

Is Herb Alpert records still going for less than a dollar in 2012? lol

Just sayin' folks........

I agree with both Betsi and Randolph as long as you cumulate the searchs. For common records, no need to look toward popsike. But if you don't (or barely) find one on marketplaces, then take time to look if and how much its been sold thru ebay with Popsike.com
Value of a records depends on its condition, but also of its issue and country release.
