While my Daughter was in the UK doing a internship at Q magazine she had the opportunity to visit and walk across Abbey Road. She has a picture of herself taken outside the Strawberry Fields orphanage. She also went to Penny Lane and got a pic of herself in front of the sign and then traveled up to Liverpool and visited where the famed Cavern Club was. She also went around a few rock and roll haunts in Manchester. Having said that I have only been to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland. I was just wondering if you folks have been to any famous rock and roll sites?
I would if I had the money to do smoething like that, and either I didn't buy records or the economy wasn't shit! It must be nice though for some people who can. At least I can hear the shared experiences of those who have seen such places.
The closest I ever came to actual rock and roll history was when I lived in Southern California in the mountains and Frankie Avalon used to frequent the grocery store that I used to work in. He told me a little about his so called glory days as a star and blah blah blah, but did seem like a really nice down to earth guy. Although, it was by no stretch of what it would be like to talk to Paul McCartney.
Other than that, the only other thing I have ever done is visit the old Capitol Records building in Hollywood, CA., but that is pretty much it..........
MusicStack is located 1 mile from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. If any of you visit the museum, be sure to let us know and you can swing by and meet us as well!

One mile you say. Would it be in a shop front then or a strip mall, or a office building? I found my stay there interesting. We were actually staying in Cleveland and going to see Oasis, Jet and Kasabian in Chyahooga Falls (bad spelling). If I'm back which I will be you must be near where the Browns play and Cavilers they are just within walking distance of the RR hall of fame.
