I need to buy a router for a computer a new Mac we have and I was wondering what brand and model should I get? I'm also not looking to spend a fortune. My places to purchase it include Wal-Mart, Future Shop, Best Buy and The Source.....

Onestep,
I'm not a computer expert by any stretch but a while back I got a Cisco E1000 router. We got it at Best Buy or Wal-Mart. Probably cost around $30 to $50 - I can't remember for sure. I got it mainly so that we could have wireless online access with our new laptop. Our computers are PC's but I'm guessing that it would be compatible with Mac's as well.

So how has it worked out? Have there been any problems with it?

It's worked very well with no problems. We got a friend of ours who is much more oomputer savvy to help us set it up with security so that no one else can use it without a password. We've had it for almost a year now and it's been problem-free.
