Although this is a demo version, "September" comes from Ryan Adams' seventh studio album, Jacksonville City Nights. More raucous and roadhouse-rowdy than the down and demure LP version, this tune is a refreshing return to the warm and twangy Americana roots rock that kick-started Adams' career as a solo performer.
